Interesting Homebrews

Am I missing something? They look like regular cabinets to me, just veneer with trim added.

I know I've seen (and own) a lot less vintage Altecs than many of you. What struck me as interesting is that most of the A7 "home versions" (smaller/"finished" versions--A7 inspired home speakers) I've seen/heard or heard of (Valencia, Model 19, Flamenco etc.) have a basic bass reflex/ported cabinet design. I'm not used to seeing something that could be (loosely) categorized as a home version of an A7 (or A7-500) in such a small cabinet with a bass horn. Not that it's never been done, just not something I see every day so I thought it was interesting. Of course, there is the Magnificent for example--a home version of the A7-500 that has a bass horn design but that is (as far as the vintage Altecs I've seen) an exception, not to mention a noticeably larger cabinet than these..... I guess what's interesting to me isn't interesting to everyone else--who knew?
